Leaving your child in the care of someone else can be a very overwhelming experience.
At Ready Roos, we strive to make the process of enrolling your child engaging and informative, making you and your child feel comfortable and at ease. Building trusting relationships with each of our families is an integral part of our center beliefs.
Even after orientation, separation anxiety is completely normal for both families and children! It is important, however, that you remain calm, happy and excited about your child’s first day (even if you have to pretend!).
Children will feed off your mood and emotion. We encourage parents to call during the day to check on their children. You can be sure that if your child is not settled, our Center Director will contact you.

At Ready Roos, we have an open door policy. Parents and families are welcome to pop in at any time except nap time which is usually between 1 & 3 pm.
Families are encouraged to familiarize themselves with our educational program and our various policies. Our Educators love when families share aspects of their home culture with both staff and children. Sharing your culture enriches our educational program.
Most importantly, please ensure that every item belonging to your child with their first and last name.
Required Items:

Extra set of clothes (seasonally appropriate)
Favorite blanket for quiet time

During a thorough tour of our center, our Center Director will meet families one-on-one and provide an outline of Ready Roos’ philosophy and processes. Families can ask any questions they may have before the child's enrolment begins. This process is crucial to the beginning of our collaborative relationship.
There will be occasions built into the program, such as "Show & Tell" when a child can bring a toy or item from home.
However, we discourage toys brought in on a regular basis to avoid them being damaged or lost.
If absolutely necessary as a comfort item, exceptions can be made.
Ready Roos will not be responsible for lost or damaged items.
