Responsibilities:
Our requirements for an educator encompass similar activities with increasing responsibilities. Our Lead Educator role is an integral part of our educational team, implementing our curriculum and fostering a nurturing environment for children. Our Lead Educator will oversee our Educator team as you all interact with and build strong relationships with parents, provide them with regular updates and deliver exceptional customer service. Our Lead Educator will lead the classroom, supervising other educators who'll be assisting with implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and activities and ensuring that each child feels the love and support we provide at Ready Roos.​ All our educators provide care and learning experiences across older toddlers 2-3yo and PreK 3-5yo.

Our Lead Educator will also act as our Assistant Director/Group Supervisor. When required, our lead educator will back up our Center Director, assisting with parent liaison, supervision of staff and other duties as directed.

​

Through the use of positive language and reinforcement, all our educators guide children's growth, while maintaining effective communication with parents. Our educators attend regular center meetings, will stay informed about our policies and regulations and remain in and ensure compliance with the same, while creating a safe and engaging environment for the children in our care.

Compensation range provides a guide that an applicant may expect to receive in our teaching  and teaching assistant positions. The compensation we offer to an applicant will be based on a combination of their experience, skills and academic achievements.

Job Type:

• Full time roles are W2 and part time roles are 1099 based.

• Part time roles are up to 32 hours per week.

• Hourly compensation range: $33,280.00 - $47,840.00 per year ($16 - $23 hr) subject to qualifications and experience

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or similar OR

• An Associates degree from an accredited college or university similar to Early Childhood Education

• CDA credential (preferred or willing to attain)

• Teaching certification (preferred)

• Specific childcare teaching experience (3yrs), general teaching experience will also be considered

• Clean background check and medical clearance

• Reliable transportation

• COVID-19 vaccinated
