Ready Roos provides childcare services in Cranberry Township with an emphasis on school readiness. Features early learning as the key objective during the program each day with a mix of activities focused on the health and wellbeing of each child as well as their foundational educational needs.

- Must be comfortable with the following:

  • Proficient using technology devices such as a personal computer or an iPad

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office applications, Email, Word etc.

  • Quickly getting up to speed with our curriculum and how it's developed & delivered


Our requirements for a teacher encompass similar activities with increasing responsibilities. Our Lead Teacher is an integral part of our educational team, implementing our curriculum and fostering a nurturing environment for children. Our Lead Teacher will oversee our Teachers as you all interact with and build strong relationships with parents, provide them with regular updates and deliver exceptional customer service. Our Lead Teacher will lead the classroom, supervising other Teachers who'll be assisting with implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and activities and ensuring that each child feels the love and support we provide at Ready Roos.​ All our teachers provide care and learning experiences across older toddlers 2-3yo and PreK 3-5yo.

Our Lead Teacher will also act as our Assistant Director/Group Supervisor. When required, our lead teacher will back up our Center Director, assisting with parent liaison, supervision of staff and other duties as directed.

Through the use of positive language and reinforcement, all our teachers guide children's growth, while maintaining effective communication with parents. Our teachers attend regular center meetings, will stay informed about our policies and regulations and remain in and ensure compliance with the same, while creating a safe and engaging environment for the children in our care.

Compensation range provides a guide that an applicant may expect to receive in our teaching  and teaching assistant positions. The compensation we offer to an applicant will be based on a combination of their experience, skills and academic achievements.

Job Type:

Full time roles are W2 and part time roles are 1099 based.

Compensation range: $33,280.00 - $54,080.00 per year ($16 - $26 hr)

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or similar OR

  • An Associates degree from an accredited college or university similar to Early Childhood Education

  • Teaching certification (preferred)

  • CDA credential (preferred or willing to attain)

  • Specific childcare teaching experience (3yrs), general teaching experience will also be considered

  • Clean background check and medical clearance

  • Reliable transportation

  • COVID-19 vaccinated
