Ready Roos provides childcare services in Cranberry Township with an emphasis on school readiness. Features early learning as the key objective during the program each day with a mix of activities focused on the health and wellbeing of each child as well as their foundational educational needs.

Early Childhood Educator (Toddlers)

We’re a small, close-knit center with enrollment of up to 29 children, from young toddlers (12 months) through Pre-Kindergarten. At Ready Roos, we believe in creating a supportive, collaborative workplace where educators are valued, empowered, and given opportunities for growth.

Job Type:

  • Full or Part Time - W2 basis

 

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday - 40 hrs per week (full time), 30 hrs per week (part time)

  • No weekends or evenings

  

Benefits:

Qualifications:

  • We need either a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education field or similar OR

  • a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential AND a High School Diploma

  • Teaching certification (highly preferred)

  • Teaching experience in a day care Center (mandatory 2+yrs) for children ages 2 - 5yo

  • Clean background and medical clearance checks

 

To hit the road running, current:

  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance

  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance

  • FBI Criminal History Clearance - IDENTGO Service Code: 1KG738

  • National Sex Offender Registry Verification (NSOR)

  • Current pre-service requirements:

    • CPR

    • Health & Safety (First Aid - Better Kid Care)

    • Fire Safety

    • Mandated reporter certifications

  • Reliable transportation
